Description:
Celebrating Black History Month, enjoy a cameraless photography session inspired by the work of Carrie Mae Weems an American artist working in text, fabric, audio, digital images and installation video, and is best known for her photography. She achieved prominence through her early 1990s photographic project The Kitchen Table Series. Adult Learning Lewisham's photography tutor Federico Rivas will provide support and access to a mobile cyanotype kit enabling you to connect with your creativity using the beautiful process of cyanotype printing. You will focus on creating your own cyanotype prints that explore personal identity. Please be aware this was originally scheduled for Wednesday 30th October, no need to book, just come along.
