Gift yourself for an hour of slow, steady and grounding movement. Journeying through a selection of mindful movement shapes, we will explore deep relaxation inner stillness and peace, and arrive (hopefully!) at a space of self-compassion and loving kindness. This class focuses on exploring how our bodies feel (not how they look), noticing sensations, and making movement choices that work for us. No experience of Yoga is required - just a body and an open mind. Embodiment (feeling present in our bodies) can be challenging when we have experienced body based trauma, and I am not a therapist. If you have any questions or worries about this class, please contact me before booking My name is Ella, and I am excited to be able to offer you four weeks of trauma sensitive, yoga classes. This is a slow, relaxing practice, with breath awareness. I am trained in Vinyasa Yoga (200hr), Chair Yoga (32 hr), and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Nidra. I have 8 years’ experience working with women impacted by Domestic Violence.
