Murder. Lies. Betrayal. Books.
Join us from 7-10pm on the third Tuesday of the month at Sydenham Library to play Blood on the Clocktower, a social deduction game for 5 to 20 people.
Seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the town.
Either way, everybody has fun!
Don’t worry if you haven’t played the game before, or even any social deduction games before – our group is very beginner-friendly and our expert Storyteller will tell you all you need to know. (If you’ve played Mafia or Werewolf before, this is similar!)
Book your ticket via Ticket Tailor. (https://buytickets.at/calico/2042311)
This is event is free to attend, however donations to the library are gratefully received. Feel free to bring your own food and drink.

As we get older our bodies change but we still want to be strong and flexible. This class features specially adapted Pilates exercises to improve balance and encourage co-ordination, mobility and strength while being safe for conditions which can affect the over 60s age group, such as osteoporosis, arthritis or joint replacements. This is a mixed ability class, so beginners, both men and women, are welcome as are clients with previous experience. While the class is challenging, there's always room to have a bit of fun!
The class is taught by Liz Murphy who has been working with this age group for a decade. Qualified with both the Pilates Foundation and Body Control, Liz has been teaching all levels of Pilates for more than 15 years and has a particular interest in Pilates for the over 60s. Her aim is to teach varied, challenging, confidence boosting classes where clients leave smiling and feeling good.
