Join us from 10:30am-12pm on Friday, 13th February in Room 1 (first floor) at Manor House Library for a relaxed drawing session for adults with Draw Club. No experience needed, just come along, draw, and enjoy the process.
This is a free session focusing on spending some quiet time slowing down, drawing, and enjoying the process alongside others. The session will begin with a few gentle warm-up drawing exercises to help you get started, followed by unguided time to draw at your own pace.
All materials are provided, including oil pastels, wax crayons, soft pastels, pencils, and charcoal. If you’d like to bring your own materials, please note that dry materials only can be used in the space.

This one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course meets HSE requirements and is ideal for anyone taking on the role of a workplace first aider.
Course Info:• Duration: Minimum 6 hours (1 day)• Age: 16+ (14–16 may attend but not act as sole first aider)• Physically practical, including CPR on the floor• Can be delivered as a Level 3 RQF Award
Certification:Choose a Standard First Aid certificate or a Level 3 RQF certificate (£5 extra). Both are HSE compliant and valid for 3 years. Some sporting bodies require the RQF option.

Welcome to one of our three monthly adult reading at Manor House Library which takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month 11am-12pmEveryone is welcome and there is no need to sign up, just grab a copy of the book from the library and come along to discuss it. It is an informal discussion and a great opportunity to meet new people.
Every Saturday at Sydenham Library, the Knit & Natter circle comes together to knit (or crochet, sew, stitch, embroider…) and also, and much more importantly, to natter.Led by Wendy, this is a friendly group of like-minded crafty souls, and a fixture in the library’s week. Bring your own projects along and get some advance, admire other people’s handiwork, and swap tips and stories.Knit & Natter is free and there is no need to book. However spaces at the library are extremely limited at the moment, so it may be worth calling ahead on 020 8778 1753.Knit & Natter run a second weekly session at Ignition Brewery from 2-4pm on a Thursday, which currently has more spaces available.Knit & Natter runs every Saturday except when the library is closed – please do check around holiday times, etc.
