Inspired by Vanessa Bell’s Famous Women Dinner Service (https://www.charleston.org.uk/stories/the-famous-women-dinner-service/), we’ll be creating our very own dream dinner party plates using ceramic pens. We will celebrate the inspiring Black women who were conspicuously absent from Bell’s original artwork. We’ll have a chance to engage with Lewisham’s Black History map and the books in our libraries to get ideas and select quotes to adorn our plates.
