Good!We love the sound of your voice.In collaboration with Ignition Brewery, Sydenham Library is proud to launch a new regular evening event: Tales On Tap. It’s a simple idea: we gather together, we drink beer – or wine, juice, water, whatever you like – and we read to one another.What do we read? Whatever you like. A chapter from that novel you can’t put down, a poem that broke you in half the other day, a newspaper column that made you chuckle. It could even be something you’ve written, if you’re feeling particularly brave.Shared reading is not just enjoyable for its own sake but offers a new way of thinking about the written word. It’s not exactly a book group. It’s not quite a writing circle. It’s certainly not just an evening in the pub.
