This Black History Month Garfield Robinson; author, publisher, business adviser, supporter for black authors, senior account manager/special projects at the Voice Media Group will be saluting 100 black authors at Deptford Lounge. We celebrate black history 365 in Lewisham, this month we promote the joy of writing for others and promoting each other with Garfield taking us on an insightful and informative night celebrating 100 black authors. SEEN Lewisham is a vibrant, multi-arts festival dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices and showcasing incredible local creative artists. Co-produced by Broadway Theatre, Nouveau Riche, and Lewisham Council, SEEN Lewisham champions bold new work across theatre, dance, music, comedy, visual arts, and more — right in the heart of Lewisham, celebrating cultural diversity. Returning for its second year from Saturday 4th October – Sunday 12th October, 2025. The festival is a joyful and radical platform for cultural expression, community connection, and artistic growth.
